About Brian.
Hello! My name is Brian Dupre, and I am a licensed real estate agent and a member of the Mark Z Real Estate Team in Novi, MI. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism/Broadcast Communications form Michigan State University. I received my Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis
I have worked for the U.S. Customs Service in the Port of Detroit, Travelers Insurance, Smith Barney Brokerage, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter - financial services, Trader Publications - advertising and I serve as Pastor of Shadow of the Cross Lutheran Church in Farmington Hills.
During my years in financial services I earned top base shop awards several times and was honored with plagues, trophies and certificates. Because of my consistent production, I won trips to Scottsdale, AZ; Boca Raton, FL; Las Vegas, Nevada and San Diego, CA.
My first call from seminary was to Lutheran Student Ministry in Lubbock Texas as Director of Campus Ministry to Texas Tech University, where I raised over $250,000 in support of the ministry.
I was then asked to be interim pastor at Redeemer Lutheran Church. A year later, I was selected as sole pastor. While there, I was able to have the city of Lubbock designate Redeemer, the first Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) congregation in the city, as a historical landmark. It is now known as Historic Redeemer.
When I returned to Michigan I was tasked with merging four churches. To do this I had to merge primarily Black congregations with a primarily White congregation. It took over a year but now Shadow of the Cross is now the only successful merger of its kind in the history of the LCMS Michigan District.
In my personal life, I am a bass guitarist. I enjoy reading about history and am a huge fan of Marvel Comics and Cinematic Universe. I love to draw and paint "the Marvel way" and love listening to music. I have written many songs, poetry and short stories over the years.
Professionally, I have built several careers by helping people accomplish their goals. Now I am applying all my knowledge, skills and talents to helping people buy and sell homes in the entire Metro Detroit community. Let me put my skills and experience to work for you.
